Foundation Curriculum

What Is the Foundation Curriculum?

The Foundation Curriculum is aย  program focusing on foundational English skills. Each week centers on a unique theme, combining vocabulary, phonics, grammar, and conversational practice in an engaging and supportive environment. Through repetition, interactive activities, and real-world connections, learners solidify their understanding of key language concepts. It is ideal for students ages 4-12 and Cefr levels PRE-A1- B1.

How Lessons Are Structured

1. Phonics

Phonics Practice: Lessons start with focused phonics drills, introducing blends and sounds (e.g., "br" for brown, bread, broom). These sessions build pronunciation confidence and word recognition.

2. Vocabulary

Vocabulary Introduction: Students learn thematic vocabulary (e.g., "needlework," "sweeping," "porridge") relevant to the weekly theme.

3. Sentences and Grammar

Sentence & Grammar Practice: Each week introduces practical sentences and grammar structures, such as "What holiday are you celebrating?" or "What canโ€™t you do?" Students practice sentence building with varied examples.

4. Warm Ups and Goodbye Songs

Warm-Up & Goodbye Songs: Music sets a fun and inviting tone, enhancing retention through repetition and rhythm.

5. Interactive Activites

Interactive Activites: Lessons include games, role-playing scenarios, and creative exercises to reinforce learning in a hands-on way.

6. Repetition & Review

Repetition & Review: Key points are revisited throughout the lesson to ensure retention and mastery.
